Review: Dark Lover

Dark Lover Dark Lover by J.R. Ward
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I first read this book in 2013, and I got so completely lost in it that now, 13 years later, I’m diving back in. Of course, I’ve revisited it many times over the years, but this reread has made me realize just how masterfully J.R. Ward pulled me into her world. Wrath, "the King," and Beth... I adore them so much. And thanks to the Passionflix adaptation, I’ve been drawn back into their story all over again.

I’d honestly forgotten what an emotional journey this book took me on, and I’m so grateful to have rediscovered it. And when I saw Zsadist (my absolute favorite) oh, my heart. This is what reading does to me. It fills me with such joy to have known these characters, to have lived in their world, even just for a little while.

BUT a good story always has to end, so let me go dive back into book 2 because girly here is rereading the whole series again...so much love.
