Review: Nine Minutes

Nine Minutes Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is going to be a review of all three books in the series; after all I read them continuously it almost felt like I was reading one long big and beautiful book.

As you guessed it, it was so good. Or maybe you did not guess nevertheless this was
what I call a good loving book. It is one beautiful story that spans through decades so you get a drop of everything that happens in the characters life. And that ladies and gents is what makes you fall in love with them in the first place.

So shortly, I read the first book in the series in 2014, two years ago and my mind as not in it that much mostly because of that prologue. You know, I opened the book and then on the very first page I learned about the execution. For me that was a deal breaker so I went in with a mind set against it.

Yet here I am two years later singing songs about this series.

I tell you people, sometimes giving a book a second chance is the best kind of reading there is. Anyway, I loved this book, the whole thing. I liked the way the author writes even if I do not necessarily always love the back to the past and back to the present chronicling. Beth writes in an inviting way and I am not judging other authors but people today tend to write very shortly without going deeper into the character or story but with Beth it was a guaranteed thing.

Thank you for that Beth.

The characters were just brilliant.

Kit. You were a doll.

Grizz, you were a hottie.

I swear to god thee novels got me wishing kidnapping happened every day if it all happens like this one. Eh?
Please do not come to kidnap me I will shoot you…

Okay so to grunt, (he I another character btw) I did not like you. I do not care how the book went but I was teem Grizz the entire time even that time when he was dead.

And to all other characters, you all played your part well.

I seriously cannot figure out exactly where I liked this story. It was all good even if the story started in the 1975 which seems like centuries ago but it was beautiful I tell you. Beautiful!

I recommend it please to all of you to read this one. it is worth every penny spent. I am certainly glad I got the chance to reread and love it.

Good work.

Write more Beth Flynn…write more.

Review: Lord of the Fading Lands

Tairen Soul Series by C.L. Wilson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This I a review for all five books because once I began this series there was no moment in between where I wanted to stop and write down thoughts on the finished book, so a full review of all five books will do… no spoilers!

WOW, would be the very first thing that comes to mind when I think about this world I was just spun into and weaved very carefully into its mists. I never wanted to leave…not even once. I was wound up in the world, the story and the characters themselves.

Everything came to life in this book. it was almost as if I was reading a story that was real and had happened somewhere on this real earth.

WOW!

First time ever reading anything by C.J. Wilson and I am absolutely in love. You write beautifully, and the words just pushed me into a certain sphere where nothing existed but the characters and the story. Excellent work, Excellent indeed.

This was a world created like none I have ever read about. Forget about Sherrilyn Kenyon’s darkhunterverse…this was just brilliance screaming a very high perfect note. This world included normal humans, fey, witches, elves, mage and much more. Now, I am not a very big fan of this kind of fantasy but I do not know what happened…I just fell in love with this one. So totally and completely.

It was perfect in all ways it can be/

The characters were all welcoming. All of them, from the two main characters;rain and ellysetta (beatfiull name btw) to the other characters, Bel, Shan, Elfeya, Adrial, Gaelen, the twins, and everyone else.

You know when I started this book, I thought it would just be a simple book but no. it turned out to be more than just a simple story . it became a story that grew from a simple story to a complex yet beautiful story.

I loved every part of it, I loved how it all came.

I want to say I am speechless but no I am not. I am in awe of this story. Would I ever write five books the way this author has done? I hope so…one day.

This was too good.

I repeat…too good.

In love!!!

Review: Taking Shots

Taking Shots Taking Shots by Toni Aleo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Elli Fisher has never thought she was good enough, let it be her job, her weight, her love life, nothing. That is until she meets Shea Adler. After doing a promotional shoot for the NHL team, the Assassins, she meets the hunky hockey player who shoots a puck, shattering her world.
Shea Adler was tired of the life he was living outside of the rink. The girls, the money blowing, the drinking, everything had to stop and it all did when he met Eleanor Fisher. He had never met anyone like her. She was feisty, witty, shy, and simply gorgeous. When he laid eyes on her, it was as if he was taking the hardest hit of his life into the boards, and he had to have her. Elli is a little skeptical of Shea, but he knows that they were meant to be together, and he needed her in his life.
Can Elli throw her insecurities out the window and love Shea with everything inside of her, or will she let a past relationship, and her family ruin any chance of her being happy..
Here I was online feeling the need to read some writing like Mcnaught's, an emotional story that could capture me from beginning to the end with no paranormal cause hey I have been reading lots of those these days...and I came upon Toni Aleo...and well I am not disappointed this was definitely a very good read.

The story felt real, the characters felt real...I felt like i was reading a true story that happened or is happening somewhere.

Loved it...

My kind of thing.

Toni I am your newest fan.

And Alder and Ellie you two were as real as you can be. loved you both. loved the fact that he cried knowing he was loosing her and man...and I loved that she was not the perfect girl we read about every other time.

Generally this book was amazing and thank goodness I found it.

Review: Perfect

Perfect Perfect by Judith McNaught
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A rootless foster child, Julie Mathison had blossomed under the love showered upon her by her adoptive family. Now a lovely and vivacious young woman, she was a respected teacher in her small Texas town, and she passionately lived her ideals. Julie was determined to give back all the kindness she'd received; nothing and no one would ever shatter the perfect life she had fashioned.

Zachary Benedict was an actor/director whose Academy Award-winning career had been shattered when he was wrongly convicted of murdering his wife. After the tall, ruggedly handsome Zack escaped from a Texas prison, he abducted Julie and forced her to drive him to his Colorado mountain hideout. She was outraged, cautious, and unable to ignore the instincts that whispered of his innocence. He was cynical, wary, and increasingly attracted to her. Passion was about to capture them both in its fierce embrace...but the journey to trust, true commitment, and proving Zack's innocence was just beginning....

The first time I read this book was quite the story. I did not have any books to read and per chance and just a good friend this book was around, only issue is the first 100 plus pages were missing so I had to be content to read it from where the pages were available.

I still smile when i think of this book because just as the title says it is simply PERFECT.

It did not matter that I started this book from the middle I still fell heavily in love with the characters and the words the author weaved with so much emotion that I felt everything the characters felt and everything the author wanted me to feel.

"I love you, Julie. I loved in Colorado. I love you here, where I am. I will always love you. Everywhere. Always.”

It is far more easy to say that this book defines why I love reading. looking back I think it has been about ten years since I read it and I am proud to say that this is still my best book and this is also why the author is my best author in the whole world.

When I got my hand on the full book...oh my it was just more smiles and more feels. great book, Judith I wish you would write more.

This book is set in the nineties, so reading it today you might feel a but thrown back to the past but it is worth every time you spend on it.

Julie and Zac, you two are my best and how sometimes I wish you were real so I could just cry when I see you because this is a great love story and this is what love is all about and to every author out there ...this is how you capture words that make people feel.

Review: Soulless

Soulless Soulless by T.M. Frazier
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

T.M Frazier,

First let me take the time to thank your husband and your baby for possibly inspiring you to write this book the way you did. And then thank your family for also being part of it…then your friends and whoever helps you in creating this masterpiece and lastly to the random people out there because this was a masterpiece.

I’ve waited for this book for a long time and to finally have gotten it and read it was possibly the best experience of February 2016. I love it.

I love the story, I love the characters and I love the way you write. I have been a long time fan since Jake’s book and I am so glad you continue writing.

I am still smiling as I write this review. Okay now to the review of this book cause given the chance I will just write praises about the author.

What did I love about this story? Everything. Because there was no point where I was bored or questioning myself why I was reading the book. It was all good from the first page to the very last page. The writing was on point, the story plot was on point, the characters…they were so on point.

I loved Thia. She is everything I want my characters to be when I write. And her man, the tattoos the good sexy body…the he is so bad that he is good. His loyalty! His fierce love I can continue writing for days about Bear.

And my favorite characters making cameos...Yes, I am talking about Jake and Abby. Much love.

I need to know more about Rage…and Lance. I need more. Please, T.M Frazier.Please. I will beg come babysit…anything! I will do anything.

This book was just great. Worth the wait and one of my favorites. Loved it. And recommend it to everyone but you can’t read it as a standalone read the whole series and trust me all the books will make you smile.

Review: Debt

Debt Debt by Nina G. Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT THIS BOOK IS FIFTY SHADES OF FUCKERY!

Eh?

What the fuck?
Okay…

When I started reading this book I was like what in fuck’s name am I reading? Okay, what was the author thinking about when she was writing this fuckery, eh? and another part of me was just in shock so many times…

Shock of how fucked up this story was

Shocked about the whole situation

And lastly shocked that I loved every bit of this story!

Every single bit. So much so I had to think for a moment I was fucked up too because eh????

There was no part of this story where I was like I do not like it. Uh huh, not me I just I am in love and I do not use that word lightly. 2016 brought this book to me and ain’t I in love?

I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK! It is simply what I can say…

Sil/Tax you are definitely not the man from my dreams but you were a fucking perfect fit for Mia.
You guys were so sweet together in a weirdly way that made me love you so.

I love books like these..a second chance at love and then vengeance and then twisted things too..

It was beautifully written. This is the first time I am reading any Nina books and I am so impressed that I will be heading to get more of her books because everything was that good.

Thank very much Nina for creating characters that are so well put together that even though the book in the beginning hocked me I managed to love it still!

So thank you for that!

And those last few pages where my heart was in different motions…and my breath taken away from me...hoping that he would come back…

You tore my heart into two and mended it right back.

BEST BOOK EVER!!
