Rereading Lover Eternal in 2025 was like slipping into a favorite old sweater....warm, comforting, and exactly what my soul needed. There’s something magical about revisiting Rhage and Mary’s story; their love is fire and devotion, chaos and healing, all wrapped up in that fierce BDB passion we adore. And oh, that dragon? Still gives me chills.
This reread was a sweet reminder of simpler, happier times. Laughing at Rhage’s antics, swooning over his unwavering love for Mary, and feeling my heart crack all over again for Bella before her world collides with Zsadist’s. (We all know what’s coming… and ugh, the pain and beauty of it still wrecks me.) And makes a slightly happy because who doesn't love to read a roller-coaster of emotions.
The Brotherhood isn’t just a series, it’s a feeling. And right now? That feeling is pure joy. Here’s to hoping Hollywood does our favorite king, his queen, and the rest of the brothers justice. Until then, I’ll keep coming back to these pages whenever I need a dose of happiness.
