Oh, the above "review" was my rushed reaction right after finishing the book. clearly, I was too obsessed diving into the next one to write more than a sentence!
Funny enough, this installment was one I’d almost forgotten in the series. Rereading it now felt like discovering something new, though of course, the memories came flooding back and it was just as sweet as ever. Butch and Marissa? Absolute sweethearts.
(Though, can we all agree Havers could’ve been left out of future books? Seriously. But Marissa’s power movein the final chapters? Chef’s kiss.)
Anyway, time to keep moving. On to the next reread! The Black Dagger Brotherhood has me hooked all over again and I am loving it. every single soul clutching moment.
