Review: Shade's Lady

Shade's Lady Shade's Lady by Joanna Wylde
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

New review after reread:

I've lost count of how many times I've read this book. With every re-read, I'm left with the same fervent wish: that it were longer than a novella. Just imagine an expanded version, it would have been the ultimate, brilliantly savage romance, layered with all the nuanced tension we crave. What an absolute joy it is to find a love story this captivating.

Original review:

Thank you Joanna Wylde for taking me back to the start of my obsession with Bikers and the MC world. This was freaking amazing and it surpassed some of your books even if it was simple a novella.

Excellent book.

Excellent story

Excellent characters

And excellent everything.

I mean shit, this book had my heart jumping ropes and loving every single second of it. I loved it to bits. What else can I say…? I fell in love with the first paragraph. This book took me back in time to the one of the very first mc’s books I read and it just got me hooked again. This book has become like a drug I had let go and then tried again. And then realized that fuck the world this drug is my life and I cannot be without it.

Marvelous.

Thank you very much Joanna for this, I needed it so very much and though it was a novella it did not feel like it was that. It felt like I was reading a complete novel. It was soo good.

If you are looking a MC book to read then look no further than this book as it will capture you wholly.

Shade and Mandy, the two of you were perfect together. I mean seriously perfect. Shade you loved her exactly how I wanted you to and exactly how it ought to be done and Mandy you loved him sweetly.

I fucking recommend.

Review: Knight

Knight Knight by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Old review:
3.5 stars
Let me just say that whatever i had against KA book is slowing melting away. I'm astounded that i am actually liking her books now...so thank you force of nature for forcing me to read her.
This was a good read though i certainly wish he was not so alpha, to be noted i am not complaining so thank you Kristen for a good book

New Review (After Reread):
On this rereading of Knight, I still enjoyed the romance and found myself appreciating Knight and Anya’s relationship even more. The intensity and protective alpha energy are very “KA” and still not entirely my style, but I can see why so many readers adore it. The pacing held up, the emotional beats landed, and while it won’t be my favorite KA book, it’s one I’m glad I revisited.
